Women’s House in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, is a community center dedicated to ending violence against women and children and supporting those affected.
Women’s House accommodates two funded services the Brisbane Rape and Incest Survivors’ Support Centre (BRISSC) and Women’s House Shelta Outreach Support.
Services Located at Women’s House
Provides information, support and referral for women and the people who support them;
Individual support and counselling for those who have experienced sexual violence.
Facilitate support groups and social action workshops; and
Education and training to the wider community about sexual violence.

Supporting community initiatives and projects
A meeting/workshop room which is available for hire. (The room accommodates 20 people comfortably, it has tables chairs, data projector, whiteboard, kids space, a disability access toilet, tea and coffee making facilities)
Computer, internet, and photocopy facilities
A donated clothes exchange area (take if you need, donate if you can)
Group activities, e.g. community lunches, art workshops
